Peter Quarmby
Peter is Executive Director Strategic Development of Community Sector Banking.
Peter has worked in the Community Sector for over 25 years. He has been CEO of two successful community-based employment services providers (Enterprise and Training Company of Coffs Harbour and Access Community Group in Wollongong).
Peter developed the concept of Community Sector Banking and was instrumental in the foundation of the bank in 2002. Peter also developed and was a founding director of and Australia’s first Regional Superannuation Fund.
He is currently is a Director of Jobs Australia Ltd, and the Jobs Australia Foundation, Peter was a founding director of both Community Sector Enterprises Pty Ltd and Community Sector Banking Pty Ltd. Peter also serves on a number of other boards at both a national and international level.

During 2005, Peter has presented social economic development and social banking at numerous conferences including, the World Social Forum at Porto Allegre in Brazil and to an international meetings of COMMACT (Commonwealth Association for People Centred Development) held in Liverpool UK and Mumbai India.
In June 2008 Peter attended the World Social Finance Forum held in Quebec city and was elected to the board of INAISE.
